Kanji and Katakana

In this term, Grade 1 students finally start learning Kanji and Katakana.
We have already talked about when we use Hiragana, Katakana and Kanji.
When I asked students where they think Kanji came from, they were saying so many countries' names like Australia, New Zealand,Turkey etc.
After guessing, we learned that Kanji came from China about 3300 years ago.

Grade 1 students will have Kanji homework on Monday and submit those papers on Thursday or Friday before Kanji test.
Thank you so much for your support at home.
I was so happy to see that students were very excited to write Kanji!
