I am Kayoko Kobayashi, the Japanese teacher at JIES.
I would like to let you know what Grade 1 students learned in my
class.
Japanese class comments will be written bi-weekly.
This week, Grade 1 students started their Hiragana practice book.
Most of them already know Hiragana, but it is a great opportunity
to practice again while considering the balance of the character and stroke
orders.
They also enjoyed singing Otsukimi (Japanese autumn
festival) songs!
